On September 26, the Ministry of Social Development (SEDESOL) invited various feminist organizations to hold a health fair aimed at combating teenage pregnancy. Although the fair was primarily directed at youth and adolescents, it was open to the general public and took place in the Central Park of Tegucigalpa. More than 300 people attended the event. Optio participated with an informational booth on emergency contraception (EC) and contraceptive methods.
The fair was held with significant participation from feminist organizations and state institutions that provide health services, among others.
