In commemoration of International Human Rights Day, Optio reaffirmed its commitment to advancing sexual and reproductive rights in Honduras by donating 10,000 tablets of Postpil (emergency contraception) to the Honduran Ministry of Health.
The donation will be distributed through public health centers across the country, aiming to increase access to emergency contraception for women and young people, particularly those in vulnerable and underserved communities.
As an international organization, Optio supports institutional efforts to promote structural changes that lead to more just and equitable societies. This includes ensuring that all human rights are upheld—particularly access to sexual and reproductive health services for all women.
The donation reflects Optio’s broader mission to support government and civil society initiatives that expand reproductive autonomy and health equity throughout the region.
