On October 11, Ciudad Mujer held a Girls’ Fair in Tegucigalpa to provide information on sexual and reproductive health to over 150 girls aged 13 to 16 from nearby schools in the Kennedy neighborhood. The commemorative event was held in honor of the International Day of the Girl, organized in partnership by government institutions and feminist organizations.
Optio participated with an informational stand on menstrual health and emergency contraception. Participants learned how to report cases of sexual abuse, while also engaging in various playful and educational activities to learn while having fun.
